There are a lot of options out there. Something is better than nothing.
We are by no means exercise specialists, but a lot exist in the area and online. If you are new to physical activity or unsure how to begin safely, we recommend enlisting the help of a personal trainer or physical therapist. If you are familiar enough with physical activity to oversee this pillar yourself, that’s great too. Here are some options we like:

EVLO is an app with weekly workouts designed by and taught by Doctors of Physical Therapy. Cost: $56/month

FitOn is a digital wellness platform that offers a wide variety of content and unique social experiences: Access to the basic platform is free, premium is $30/year. They also offer exclusive classes and events for additional fees.

With locations in Overland Park and on the Country Club Plaza, Chiefs Fit offers a variety of high-intensity classes from boot camp to Zumba. They also specialize in a variety of recovery techniques. Cost: $29-$79/month.

Blue Bicycle Health and Fitness
Blue Bicycle is a neighborhood health club located in the Red Bridge Shopping Center offering group classes and personal training. They also have pickleball courts. Cost: $30-$99/month.

Hustle & Heart is a neighborhood gym located in Overland Park. They offer small group and private options for personal training and group classes. Cost varies but starts at $39/session for personal training and $15 for group classes.
